Improvements and Fixes: 


  • Fixed “Could not allocate afx2daw slots” message when loading a second instance of the plugin. The plugin now responds to the correct set of commands. 

  • Plugin state and setting are now recalled in case of a crash from the host (DAW)  

  • Could not allocate afx2daw slots do appear only in case of the following scenarios: 

When the plug-in is not activated  

When the device is not supported 

When the maximum afx2daw plugin instance is reached. 

  • The plugin now alerts when the active session is in place and prevents the panel from being closed without notice 

  • afx2daw does open the interface control panel when inserted into the DAW.

Known Issues and Limitations: 



  • M1 Apple Silicon-powered computers are not supported. 

  • Apple Macs (Pre-2012) with the first revision of Thunderbolt™ are not supported. 

  • Pro Tools is only supported at 44.1/48.0kHz; 

  • Automation doesn't work on Logic Pro X; 

  • Rosetta 2 emulation is not supported; 

  • Zen Go SC:  

  • PreSonus Studio One versions 4 and 5: There is audible distortion in some cases when the plugin is inserted into the daw.  

  • afx2daw is supported on one audio interface at a time  



  • Windows-based ARM64 computers are not supported  

  • afx2daw is supported on one audio interface at a time
