Updating the OS from Sonoma to Sequoia might require allowing the Kernel extension (Unified Driver) in the Security and Privacy settings as well as in Recovery Mode (for Apple silicon).

  • To allow the Driver in Security and Privacy, follow this article.

  • For Apple silicon computers to enable the Driver in Recovery mode, follow this article.

To install afx2daw on macOS Sequoia you need to have the latest Antelope Launcher version 3.1.4

We have confirmed normal operation of afx2daw with the latest versions of the following DAWs

  • Avid Pro Tools

  • Ableton Live

  • Image-Line FL Studio
    PreSonus Studio One

  • Steinberg Cubase

  • Cockos Reaper
    BitWig

*With Apple Silicon computers some DAWs need to run under "Rosetta" for the afx2daw to work. For more details about Rosetta, please go through this Apple article.

For Logic Pro users:

We’ve detected inconsistent behavior when afx2daw gets validated by Logic Pro X’s "auvaltool".

On Apple Silicon computers the validation does not pass and fails with the message “Crashed validation".
You need to disconnect your Antelope interface from the computer and “Reset & Rescan" the plug-in.
If you encounter any other validation issues or other difficulties with the afx2daw plug-in, please go through the following article.
