How may we help you?

There are times when driver issues can arise due to various system configurations. In such situations, it's crucial to know the most effective approach for reinstallation. Here are the cases where driver reinstallation might be necessary:

Device Availability Issue

If your device isn't visible in the Launcher but appears in your DAW or Voicemeeter, it's likely due to the Manager Server. Check our support resource for detailed information on troubleshooting this issue.

In some very, very rare cases, the driver might also be at fault there, however it's highly unlikely.

Pops and Clicks

Unrelated to sample rates or buffer sizes, pops and clicks can occur even without plugins in your session. They're not specific to any particular app or DAW.

In order to get everything freshly up and running, please follow the steps below:

1. Uninstalling the Driver

  • Disconnect the device from your computer.
  • Go to Windows Features and uninstall the Antelope Thunderbolt Driver from "Apps and Features."
  • Restart your computer.

2. Prepare for Reinstallation:

  • Disable antivirus software, VPNs, and firewalls temporarily.
  • Download the driver manually from here.

3. Driver Reinstallation

  • Install the downloaded driver.
  • After installation, restart your computer again.

4. Reconnect the Device:

  • Once your computer restarts, reconnect your device.

Ensure you follow these steps thoroughly, including the required restarts. While restarting after each step might be slightly inconvenient, it's essential for all Windows configurations.
